As Molecular Biology and Genetics department, our areas of interest are the development of diagnosis and treatment molecules, energy generation in the vegetative system, cancer biology, cell functions and division, researching molecular structures and processes involved in the onset of disease. Our education and research plan has a wide range of disciplines including topics such as molecular biology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, structural biology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, immunology, microbiology, genomics and proteomics. It is aimed to provide our graduates with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to be employed both academically and in fields such as food, medicine, health, environment, energy and agriculture as a result of the trainings given in relevant branches.
